I use Fulcrumapp.com to manage my crews across the US. The app allows me to send data to my teams without requiring them to stop and download anything, which saves a lot of time. However, I wish I had the ability to manage my users - create logins, manage passwords, but I can't. We switched to Fulcrumapp.com because we needed to upgrade to modern hardware and after evaluating map-based apps, Fulcrum was the best choice.

I consider fulcrumapp-com reasonably priced and low commitment. It's highly adaptable and flexible, as well as intuitive and user-friendly. However, some advanced features may cost extra and require more IT expertise. There are also some restrictions to the app's UX layout.

Fantastic Geo-App!
I use Fulcrum to annually collect thousands of data points, significantly streamlining our field data collection processes for various aspects of water quality research and stormwater management feature design. This includes everything from soil test pits to infrastructure inspection. Without Fulcrum, scaling our business would be challenging. The software provides easy-to-customize apps, almost limitless data collection options, and excellent back-end data review options. It also integrates well with other software platforms. However, I would like to see the integration of line/polygon features, the ability to create custom reports without consulting with Fulcrum's designers, and the option to assign different icons based on status. The vendor responded positively to my feedback, acknowledging that these features are on their radar, but would require significant development time. They also mentioned the possibility of allowing users to make small edits to the default report template and improving symbology. They encouraged me to share my ideas with their support team, as user feedback greatly influences their product roadmap.
